Prop-Firms.com has announced the results of its 2025 Annual Prop Trading Awards, giving potential traders valuable insight into the best firms currently operating in the market.
The awards recognise the top 30 proprietary trading providers for 2025, based on their trading costs, the quality of their platforms, their challenge structures, and their profit-sharing approaches. Other factors, such as transparency on drawdowns, realistic profit targets, and market diversity, were also taken into account.
As the Prop-Firms.com team is made up of real-life traders, they drew upon their own experiences as they developed their methodology. Feeding prop firm data into a weighted scoring system, they devised a definitive top ten – and a genuinely useful resource for aspiring proprietary traders.
The Results for 2025
To structure their results, the Prop-Firms.com team divided the awards into several key categories. As well as the award for the top proprietary trading firm overall, there are platform-specific awards, market-specific awards, performance-based awards, challenge awards, and community awards.
Prop-Firms.com co-founder Noam Korbl explained why these categories are so important:
“These awards not only recognise the Best Overall Prop Firm and Best Forex Prop Firms but also celebrate firms that have carved out their niches in specific areas,” Noam said.
“This is why we have recognised firms who excel in categories such as Best Futures Prop Firm, Largest Trading Community, and Most Transparent Firm.”
The overall winner for 2025 was DNA Funded. This firm achieved a score of 97/100 during the Prop-Firms.com tests – a score that no other candidates could match.
Profit splits of up to 90%, as well as challenge fees that start at $49, helped the firm achieve this impressive score. Other strong aspects included a range of more than 800 markets across DXTrade and TradeLocker, which far exceeds anything offered by rivals on the list.
On naming DNA Funded as the Best Overall Prop Firm, Noam Korbl described how the organisation represented “a clear leader in affordability and transparency, delivering a standout trader experience through industry-first innovation.”
In fact, transparency was one of the most important themes of the 2025 awards. The Prop-Firms.com team recognised that the proprietary trading industry is largely unregulated, and so much of the responsibility falls on the firms themselves to provide safe and secure trading environments.
Companies that were able to offer reliable communication and strong customer support were rewarded with high rankings on the list, as well as those who made their trading rules clear and readily available.
DNA Funded was one of the firms singled out for their commitment to transparency and a safe and reliable trading environment. On top of their overall award, DNA Funded scooped the Most Transparent Prop Firm accolade too.
In second place overall was IC Funded with a score of 94/100. IC Funded also took the award for Best Customer Support, Best cTrader Prop Firm, Best Two Step Challenge, and Best Forex Prop Firm.
Meanwhile, the third place ranking went to OANDA, with an overall score of 90/100. OANDA also won the award for Best MetaTrader 5 Prop Firm, after providing traders with an excellent experience on the platform. Other awards won by OANDA include Best Prop Firm for Beginners and Best Prop Firm for High Leverage.
While the awards are designed in part to reward excellence and innovation in the industry, they are also intended to provide a snapshot of the current state of the market. This means considering areas where improvement is needed, and identifying how the industry can evolve to better meet the needs of traders in the coming years.
