Bitlayer Integrates BitVM Bridge with Xverse Wallet
Bitlayer has announced the integration of the BitVM Bridge with Xverse Wallet, a bitcoin wallet that supports customizable Bitcoin testnet configurations. This collaboration allows users to access the trust-minimized BitVM Bridge seamlessly through the Xverse Wallet, enhancing the adoption of BitVM technology in the Bitcoin decentralized finance (DeFi) space.
BitVM Alliance and BitVMNet
As a member of the BitVM Alliance, Bitlayer is also sponsoring an open Bitcoin Signet network, BitVMNet, to facilitate the development of BitVM-based applications. Additionally, the testnet version of the BitVM Bridge has migrated to BitVMNet, with new Mint and Unmint functions now available.
Multi-Chain Liquidity Network
The integration supports Ethereum and is expanding to include Base, Starknet, Arbitrum, Plume, and Sonic SVM, contributing to the creation of a multi-chain liquidity network.
