Ethiopian Airlines Group has joined forces with Loyyal to utilize the blockchain infrastructure for its loyalty program. This collaboration, specifically designed for Shebamiles members, allows for the daily accumulation of rewards, enhancing engagement and customer loyalty.
In a groundbreaking three-way partnership, Ethiopian Airlines Group, a prominent African airline, has selected Loyyal, a blockchain-based loyalty rewards provider, as its tech-savvy loyalty partner. Loyyal will integrate its rewards management system into the airline’s loyalty program, offering innovative solutions to its customers.
Additionally, Ethiopian Airlines and Loyyal will team up with Finfare Connect, a rewards platform, to leverage its payment-linked incentives solution. This unique collaboration will utilize Loyyal’s blockchain technology to enhance the airline’s loyalty systems and further engage ShebaMiles members.
Ashish Kumar Singh, CEO of Loyyal, commended the partnership, highlighting the benefits it will bring to Ethiopian Airlines’ customers. Brad Blake, Chief Growth Officer at Finfare, emphasized the increase in sales and personalized experiences for partner brands, as a result of this collaboration.
The partnership will enable Ethiopian Airlines to streamline deals with renowned brands like Nike and Marks & Spencer through smart contracts. Rahel Assefa, Group VP of Marketing at Ethiopian Airlines, expressed enthusiasm about the added value this partnership brings to loyal customers, enhancing their mile-earning experiences.
